Terms of Use

Purpose

AuraFi provides personalized budgeting and planning guidance, financial education, forecasting, and purchase-evaluation tools. It is not a bank, investment adviser, broker-dealer, fiduciary, accountant, attorney, credit counselor, or lender. Outputs are informational estimates based on available data—not guarantees or instructions to transact. Investment-growth values are labeled assumptions and may not reflect taxes, fees, inflation, volatility, or future contribution changes. Aura does not recommend individual securities.

Member responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and review imported, linked-account, or AI-extracted data.
• Protect account credentials, passkeys, and recovery codes.
• Upload only content you have authority to use. Statement import accepts eligible CSV and selectable-text PDF files; scanned, password-protected, active-content, or unsupported PDF layouts may be rejected rather than guessed.
• Do not submit people, payment cards, account or routing numbers, IDs, tax records, medical records, or other highly sensitive material through purchase-photo or AI document analysis.
• Review and explicitly confirm AI-extracted receipt or document fields before relying on them. Confirmation does not itself update financial records.
• Confirm important financial decisions independently.

Third-party services

Optional features may depend on Plaid, Stripe, OpenAI, OpenStreetMap/Overpass, browser push services, native operating-system location and notification services, or other service providers. Consented purchase photos and eligible text-based receipt, invoice, or bill PDFs may be sent to the configured AI provider for requested analysis. Scanned and image-containing financial documents are rejected. After a member enables Location Spend Guard, an explicit current-location check or separately enabled foreground monitoring sends current coordinates to the nearby-place provider. A supported signed native app may additionally monitor a rolling, expiring set of nearby business regions only after separate Background Arrivals consent and Always or Allow all the time operating-system authorization. Loading the optional interactive map sends its viewed area and marker position to OpenStreetMap. Web Push sends encrypted notification payloads through the browser's push service; native business arrivals may display a local operating-system notification. AuraFi does not persist raw coordinates or a route trail. Provider and operating-system processing and retention may apply under their policies, and availability or delivery timing is not guaranteed. AuraFi identifies data freshness and uncertainty where supported.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe other members’ data, overload the service, misuse provider integrations, or use AuraFi for unlawful activity. AuraFi may restrict access to protect members and the service.

Availability and changes

Features may evolve as AuraFi improves security, accuracy, and provider integrations. Material changes to these terms or the privacy notice will be reflected in the effective date.
